HONDURAS 2013
Imagine thousands of God's people coming together in one nation for one day to advance God’s Kingdom. What would it look like, and how could this become a reality?

God put that question into the heart of  Dominic Russo, founder of Missions.Me. Dominic did his best to work on the idea for several years, even though he was in his early 20s and had no major connections, wealth, or influence. God stepped in and did the rest, giving Dominic favor and opening doors he never could have opened on his own.
In 2013, Missions.Me launched their first 1Nation1Day event in Honduras. Enlisting the help of the Honduran government, 2000 volunteer missionaries went to provide medical care, build houses, hand out meals, construct wells, and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, breaking the record for the largest missionary event in one nation at one time.Honduras was suffering at the time from a dangerous crime wave and from corruption. It was sometimes referred to by international media as “The most dangerous country in the world.” More than 1 million Hondurans were personally reached, and the national Honduran newspapers proclaimed, “We Have a New Honduras.” 1Nation1Day was even declared an official national holiday there.Through 1Nation1Day, God continues to send workers into the harvest fields like never before. In 2015, 1Nation1Day broke the record for mission outreach again when it organized a mission week in the Dominican Republic with 2500 missionaries. In 2017, 1Nation1Day hosted its third global outreach in Nicaragua, topping their previous total by sending 2858 missionaries to that country. This June, God will use 1Nation1Day to shatter the record yet again, sending 5000 missionaries to Peru to serve people’s needs while proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is raising up volunteer missionaries from all walks of life for this event. The teams include medical professionals, teachers, students, business professionals, pastors, and anyone who has a passion for making Jesus known throughout the world.

February 2019: Dominic shared the stage with Lou Engle, Todd White, Rev. Sammy Rodriguez and many more at The Send in Florida. June 2019: Many leaders are joining him in Peru
The teams will do more than 5400 outreaches, spreading out to every corner of Peru with His love and truth.

God has gone before them and prepared the way for 1Nation1Day by moving those in the Peruvian government to help with the  event and provide necessary resources. God has also opened the door for 1Nation1Day to share the Gospel at nearly every high school in Peru. He is raising up medical professionals to operate free clinics. Missionaries are also being called to train and mobilize the Peruvian church to facilitate sustainable transformation long after 1Nation1Day workers are gone. God is also equipping local believers throughout the nation as they are taught how to effectively share the Gospel and give ongoing discipleship to new believers.
All of the work, outreach, and teaching will culminate on the final day when fifteen of Peru’s largest stadiums will be filled with hundreds of thousands of people who will hear the gospel. Millions more will watch this event through a live television broadcast.
